We are thrilled to invite you to the International Coimbra Group Summer School on European Multilingualism, which will take place in Niš, Serbia, from June 24th to June 28th, 2024 (advised arrival one day before the school starts; advised departure one day after the school ends, i.e. 23rd to 29th June, 2024).
This exciting event, organized in collaboration with renowned professors from Coimbra Group Universities and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš, aims to bring together aspiring translators and language enthusiasts from the Western and Eastern Balkans, Serbia and Coimbra Group Universities to delve into the art and practice of translation.

Hosted in the vibrant city of Niš, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and dynamic atmosphere, this summer school offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of translation while experiencing the warmth and hospitality of Serbian culture.

We encourage students from the Western and Eastern Balkans, Serbia and Coimbra Group Universities who are passionate about languages and translation to apply for this enriching opportunity. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced translator seeking to refine your craft, the Translation Summer School promises to be a rewarding and unforgettable experience.
The application for the International Coimbra Group Summer School on European Multilingualism is open until June 7th, 2024. We would like to stress that the participation fee is free of charge.
